Thank you for your interest in becoming a member of New Haven Works. Please read the following instructions carefully before completing the registration.

New Haven Works is proud to partner with employers, government, and community groups to build a closer relationship between New Haven residents and local employers. We aim to connect our members to good jobs and to provide a valuable referral service to employers who are committed to local hiring.

Because of limited resources and high demand we unfortunately must restrict entrance into the program. Each month we will randomly select individuals to attend an orientation, from among those who have completed the online registration form. We anticipate inviting approximately 25 new members per month, depending on program capacity. A number of orientation slots will be reserved for individuals who reside in certain under-served neighborhoods.

To be considered for an upcoming orientation, please complete the short online registration form. You will be asked to provide your name, current address, contact information, and to copy and paste your resume. You will also be asked basic eligibility criteria for admission to New Haven Works (you will need to provide proof should you be selected). A confirmation will be sent to the provided e-mail address once the form is submitted. All required information must be provided to be considered eligible for orientation. Multiple submissions will not increase your chances of entry.

Orientation will take place on the third Saturday of the month at 8:30am. The cut-off for selection into the upcoming orientation will be the last day of the previous month. For example, a September 16th orientation will be selected from among those that submit a registration between August 1st and 30th (11:59pm). Those that submit after the cut-off will be considered for the following month’s orientation.

If you are selected, you will receive an e-mail and phone call with details about the orientation date and time and reminder of the materials you must bring to prove eligibility. If you are not selected, you will receive an e-mail. Those not selected must register again to be considered for the next orientation.
